Been really bad at blogging lately!!

My 'special' girl, Daisy LMAO!!

 She was mad cuz I was paying attention to Martha and not her...
But I got Martha to do this!

I didn't put a crupper on her at this time, I didn't want to overwhelm her since it was the first time she's been saddled. Of course she stepped on a dog toy that had been in the pasture forever and freaked out and we had a mini donk rodeo. After about 50' she stopped LOL it was pretty funny. but thats why the saddle is too far forward.

Daisy's first saddled ride!!

Yesterday my best friend & I decided it was time to ride Daisy with her saddle on!!
she did amazing, we kept her on the lead *just in case*, but really nothing happned and she was very good & willing. I even got her to *whoa* two times on verbal command only!! she got lots of praises every time she did the right thing.

Daisy's saddle came from my neighbor, who was very gracious & let me use it. I think its neat that my neighbor bought it over 20 years ago & its still in great shape. It's a Caruso Y Rossi saddle and was made in Argentina.

Rigged this up last weekend, just so Daisy could get used to the feeling of a girth on her. It wasn't very tight, jut snug enough so the saddle pad didn't fall off.
